Muswell Hill

Yesterday, my friend Laura and I decided on a whim to spend a lazy afternoon in Muswell Hill, forgetting about the stacks of reading about First World War Poetry we still had to do for uni on Monday. And what a splendid day it was; sunshine, great company and a perfect setting for walks in the park, afternoon tea and discovering some hidden gems! I definitely recommend you pay a visit to this wonderful place; it’s a perfect way to get off the beaten track and to discover some dedicated, independent shops in a relaxed yet very vibrant area of London! Now on with the pictures...

dress: stall at Camden Stables Market
cardigan: H&M
necklace: stall at Brick Lane Sunday Up Market
scarf: Topshop, vintage, original Liberty Print

Shoes: Office
Bag: Topshop, Mark B

This is the cemetery, where Karl Marx, George Eliot and a range of ‘revolutionaries’ are buried, alongside sailors and soldiers and people from all kinds of walks of life. It’s definitely worth a visit.

trench coat: Burberry Prorsum
& the most delicious gingerbread cake in the world!

tiniest little daschund, so adorable!

There was this wonderful bookshop on Highgate High Street, which, in my mind, used to belong to Bernard Black. I could’ve spent hours in there!

Let me know what you think! I know I've been awfully quiet as of late, but I'm finally able to post regularly now, and I'd really love to hear from you all! x

  1. Pretty pictures, pretty clothes, pretty girl :D

I really love those kind of shoes but my friends always say they're for snobs? If their aversion for tosee shoes is because they think it's for snobs... doesn't that... make them snobs? Ts, anyway, they never fit my broad feet and it makes me sad.

Your Burberry coat is so perfectly tailored, argh! It's one of the best classic raincoats I've seen as of late *_*

OH MY GOD THAT REALLY IS BERNARD BLACK'S BOOKSHOP AAAH EEEH /fangirls
